Dana 60
I searched but the function wont search dana 60, its gives you all the results for dana... anywho have a chance to pick up a set of dana 60's our of a late 90's dodge for under a grand. Only question is how hard is it going to be to get them under my jeep, my cousin can weld and help teach me along the way but im concerned about the gear housing's not lining up or something silly like that. Just dont want to buy them then find out that i have paper weights in the garage. If there are links to junkyard d60 builds that you guys know of please post, and please some feedback so i know wheither to get on these or let them go

Problem is your front axle needs to be driver side drop. That limits you to a ford f250 or f350 if you want a d60. the rear end needs to have the diff in the center. 78-79 ford axles will have the most axle tube to work with on the drivers side so they will be by far the easiest to setup from what I can see. Hope somebody else who has more knowledge can help you here... if not try re-posting in the fabricators section... modified jk tech is more for easy direct bolt on parts.
