Default Dana 60 width?

Does anyone know if the Dana 44 is the same width as a Dana 60. I have 37" on 4.5" backspace and am rubbing even with flat fenders and 4" Rough Country longarm.

Good point. i am looking at the G2 Core 44 axles or the G2 pro rock 60. Im not doing too much offroad and I drive a bunch on the highway but would like a good all around setup.

In general, a D60 is a few inches wider if you are buying a new axle. Dynatrac offers custom widths on their PR44. Keep in mind that a D60 will require a different bolt pattern for wheels. Ideally, you want the front and rear to match.

The easiest solution is to get proper back space wheels or some 1" spacers. No need to spend a ton on an axle.

And what exactly is rubbing? There may be an easy fix to that.

just rubbing on the inner fender on the rear side. It was rubbing on the front but we pushed the axles back. I plan on getting new axle assembly soon front and rear. I need new gearing anyway.

Either way, just trim that thing. Do you have a picture of your rig you can post up?
