Default That dang hose again...

OK, tons of stuff on here about lengthening your axle vent tubes, etc...but, unlike most people who post a question about the vent tube on here, usually where it has pulled loose from the axle, mine has pulled loose from the top, and is still very snug on the axle housing. I flexed it up, lifted almost 6", and the tube falls on the ground with the little valve piece attached, and what looks like a push on type retainer, that looks like it just slips over a bolt somewhere up high, to hold it up. I can't seem to find where the hose goes up there, because like I said, most stuff I find on here has people asking what it is, how to lengthen it, etc...I just need to know where it goes until I can extend it and move it up a lot higher. Anybody know where the top end of the rear axle vent tube attaches? Thanks.

Doesnt. Matter. Get some air hose, attach to the axle, remove valve from old hose and replace on new hose. Stuff valve end up into the secret spot behind passenge tail light, secure with zipties. Also, use a hose clamp on the axle fitting so it doesnt pull off. Do the same up front except put the valve end up near the drivers side firewall,,,DONE

Yeah, I plan on that as soon as I get time to do it, off work, in other words, just wondering where it goes until then, so it doesn't fall out while driving home.
