Question Dash add-on

I'm looking for the dash topper in this picture, but can't find the accessory:

(the part with is holding the GPS in the pic).

I found this on ebay, by Daystar, but it isn't exactly what I'm looking for.

Anybody know where I can find the first one?

as far as i know it is part of the package to get you the nav system from Jeep, but you may be able to buy the parts seperately if someone could find out the mopar numbers for them.

The parts listings i have do not break it down far enough to just get the plastic dash parts, it includes the whole gps/nav system.

I had heard that, but the picture is showing it with a standard (or 6-disc) radio - not the nav!

2 different things - HC's talking about the Jeep "Trail Guide" GPS (by Garmin), whereas your "nav" is the MyGIG option. Make sense?

MJS is right, i was refering to the dash piece on top of the center stack, not the nav system. I thought from your post you where looking for the plastic surrounding the gps on top of the dash?

sorry if i mis-spoke above. I meant the GPS, not that nav/mygiggle thing

So that comes with the Garmin Trail Guide?

That's cool - that's why I wanted the piece - for Garmin - that would work!

Thanks, guys!

Default Got it

I have the Garmin Trail Guide system in my jeep. Its is a great GPS. I would recomend it to anyone. The dash fit for the system is perfect and I havent had a bit of problems with it messing up my compase. Some other guys here were haveing trouble with that. The speakers are great also and it can be turned up to screaming load.... Great for when the top is off. When you have the GPS out you can flip over a dust cover that hides the hole from the missing GPS.

Does this work for mapping off road "bread-crumb" style?

I'm pretty sure this bugger has bread crumbing. I believe it's more catered to off-road driving than on road... but I may be wrong?
