the hold down clips for the daystar upper panel?
Dealer wants 20 bucks for one clip.

 

You might already know this but you can re-use the ones off the factory panel.

 

one dissapeared into the radio area. now it sits lop sided

 

Try auto zone/advance auto parts/pepboys...they have those spinning racks where they sell various plastic rivets/fasteners, etc...maybe you will find something there that fits

 

great minds think alike... I've tried all but pepboys, nothing that will work. I've got a j nut on it right now, still looks bad.

 

I've been trying to find them all over - Fastenal doesn't have them. There are a couple other threads on this - and someone found some online. You can buy a box of them for the price mopar wants for one.

 

i ran a parts search on moparpartsamerica.com for the part number and i got the top plate no fasteners and it was 15$ ...have ya tried ebay i just ordered 45 fender clips for 39.99 with shipping dealer wanted 5$ each...wtf i know they need to make money but i feel like i just dropped the soap in the county lock up....

so i downloaded the install guide off of quadratec and these are my first find not sure if its quite right hard to tell from a drawing....

The clips are basically all chrysler style clips... they use these clips on all the interior molding like on the doors to hold the wooden panels to the main door panel... Local junkyard has them.
