our local oreiley and Napa both have "help" sections that have various trim clips and such. I bet you could find them at a large chain auto store

If I remember right ...in the Daystar install instructions it tells you the Chrysler part # of the clips...just stop by a dealer and get some new ones.

That's exactly what I was about to say. I've seen them at my local Auto Parts store too. Also, if you can can another one in your Jeep take it to your Service dept. and asked to speak with a mechanic and he'll know what to grab out of the parts bin at the dealership.

Our instructions didnt list the part number for the clips. Went to several parts stores and never found a similar clip. Had to buy a new dash panel from Mopar to get the clips. Good thing is the panel is only about $10

i must have been one of the lucky ones. i had mine off twice with no problems. heads up: make sure you put the compass module back on with the wiring on the drivers side. or your compass will read backwards.

I will be putting this on my dash soon and am glad I read this thread. Will be very careful in removing the dash.

hey guys, well I called my dealer and the clips are $7.50 each!! I really don't have time to look around too much, and try to make stuff work. Whoever buys this should put something underneath the dash panel to prevent them from dropping into the console to be lost forever! The part # for the clips is on the instructions. Thanks for all the input!
