Default Daystar Switch Panel - Problems?

Anyone have a problem with there Six speed shifter boot turning off the switches in the Daystar rocker switch pannel?

I have had it for almost a year now and it is getting annoying.

Yes,

It doesn't really work well with the standard transmission. You can try things like having an upholsterer make a soft vinyl shift boot, or flipping the switches upside down, but I found that I still had some trouble.

I ordered the daystar because of the stock look, but I finally ditched it and ordered a cooltech instead.

I didn't realize that cooltech made one. I will check it out. Thanks for the info.

Go to any junkyard and get a leather one from a honda. Problem solved.

I do agree they did not think it through as well as they might have. I have the panel in an automatic so no problems but with a six speed its definitely a problem.
