Default Daystar tailgate bump-stop length?

Does anybody know how long these things are before being cut? I can't find any info online about this. Are they as long as 6" or no?

you just want to make sure they are long enough to push firmly on the sidewall of your spare. this will help prevent it from jiggling around as that'll lead to damage of your tailgate.

Right, I'm just wondering if they'll be long enough for my setup. I am currently using a home-grown solution based on the stock bump stops and some rubber plumbing parts from home depot. I'm just wondering if these are long enough. I will need maybe around 6" of length to meet up with my wheels.

Just looking at the photo online, compared to the factory bump stop, it looks like about 4 inches maybe 4 and a half.

Awesome, thanks. BTW > did you just get them? Seems like they're on back order from most places at the moment.

Have a set in my garage, waiting on backordered tires. They're only 4 and 3/4 inches.

Really disappointed to hear how short it is (that's what she said). My 17" wheel on 35" tire is about 6" out from the tailgate. I had purchased the Off Camber Fabrications by MBRP Spare Tire Relocation Bracket and that's just how far it put it out. My wheels are 4.7" backspacing AEV's.

Maybe I need a different bracket that brings the wheel much tighter into the tailgate. What are others typically running?

Yeah, I just got them last Friday or Thursday.
I ended up finding them on Amazon, and with their never ending prime trials, got free two day shipping. I actually only paid a buck or two more than the lowest shipped price I could find.

Multiple vendors are out of them, and said they would be for weeks. I found that out only AFTER placing the order because their website never indicated they weren't in stock. That happened more than once.

Vendors not updating online stock availability has bit me more than once in the past couple months. Complete pain in the ass.
