Default DC-2 wheels. Anything to say about them?

Have a stone white unlimited. Dont want to go for the all black wheel look. Wife has a say in the wheels to because she also likes to drive it and has to look at it. We where looking for some 17x9 wheels that where black and silver. The only wheel that we can somewhat agree on is the DC-2. Are they decent wheels? Anybody have any problems with them? Anybody have any pics of them? If you have any advise I would love to know. Also is the silver part smooth or does it have a fine texture to it?

Have the dc2s for a while now, with dc rubber as well (fcII). Although bought the 17 (with 33s) inch, i sometimes wish i had gone with 16 or at least 35s. But, love em. Very very well balanced, tough. Not light. Still look brand new.

Texture is smooth but not overly shiny. I like em and others seem to as well. As for "family support," my young daughters, for what thats worth (!) think they are really cool but want bigger tires (going 35 next, of course). Been offroad down to 16 psi no prob. Couple pics (dirty and clean).

BTW, though not asked, think the tires are excellent. Wearing great, love the hwy ride and plenty of grip in mud and snow.

I have a set of 17X9's on my 07 JKU and love um. Feel very solid and mine have taken quite a beating. The silver on them is smooth but has a matte look to it rather then a chrome-y look which is what sold me on them. Here is a shot of when I was test fitting my new spare with a 35" MT/R w/kevlar. I for some reason havent gotten a shot of them all on my truck but you get the point.

I say go for um. they look good. feel good. balance well. and did I mention they look good?

I've never read anything bad about them. I almost went with them myself.

I had the 15x10 on my TJ. They look cool, until you drive them in the winter..... Then they turn white and become corroded. Take them off in the winter!

With the coating on them, wouldnt this prevent them from turning nasty in the winter?

If you have snowy winters they silver finish will be dull and corroded after the winter. I bedlined mine because of this, now they are way easier to maintain and keep looking good.

They had a weak clear coat problem... I think they actually replaced a few sets for peplr due to corrosion with in a few months....
