Can a steering stabilizer that is messed up cause the death wobble?

I would check your track bar holes and bushings. Also your ball joints could be causing if they are extremely worn. Mine was a combination of both.

Just replaced my ball joints and all 4 tie rod ends today. Drove it around and everything feels ALOT better. As people have mentioned the OEM ball joints are wearing out fast. follow planmans tips for checking out death wobble.

It the ball joints they are wore bad and it's only been 24,000miles. Which aftermarket ball joints are the best?

they aren't cheap but, the dynatrac prosteers are "the best". probably the last set of ball joints you will ever need to get again.

Should the ball joints be covered under warranty?...even if I have a lifted Jeep and bigger tires?

I wouldn't count on getting that covered. They'd argue the larger tires put undue stress of the OE ball joints.
