Default Death wobble?

So after a great day of putting my jk to the test in the beautiful az desert, i now experience a crazy wobble or shudder when traveling at low speeds. My steering wheel goes ballistic and i can't hold it straight for the life of me. Is this the death wobble? If this happens on the highway - i will be screwed! Any solutions?

Yes. Crawl under and check ALL front end bolts for tightness.

Check and see if the weld is cracked where the track bar attaches to the axle. Then torque the track bar down, check your steering stabilzer to make sure you didn't bend it up, and then check wheels to see if you lost any weights.

Its likely you broke or cracked the track bar bracket. Check for loose suspension bolts. Check for globs of mud in the inner rim.

Please update the cause when you find.

Also remember you could be geting a shimmy due to throwing a wheel weight, Bending a rim, loose track bolts.... Also as mentioned above mud stuck in the wheel well.

Yup, you're right. I looked at the time and missed the 1. Oh well. Not usually one to repeat. On fibbing, I make it a HARD rule not to. An oversight. Apologizes.

I think I found it. The drivers side control arm was very very loose. Will know for sure tomorrow on the drive into work. The track bars are supposed to pivot a little, right?

By real tight he means 125 FtLbs.
