Death wobble, I can't get this figured out..
I've checked the track bars and they are torqued to spec, the brackets are not wallowed out or cracked, the bushing appear to be fine, I checked the control arms and they are tight.......What is left to check ??
My Jeep is just about un-driveable now, this is no exageration, I had probably five death wobbles this afternoon alone while driving around town that required me to completely stop to call things down....
The only thing that looked out of place that I could find was the stock SS is blown..
My mods if it matters are OME lift w/JKS track bars that I bought from Northridge and 35" Pro Comp X-treme AT's on 15" Pro Comp rims.....
If anybody can think of something that I have over looked or need to check please post up !!

great info in that link, thanks....
My buddies TJ just had this problem this last weekend. We jacked up the front axle to get the tires just off the ground and turned the wheels left to right. His suspension was loose in THREE places
Can't believe it wasn't worse. If you get the tires off the gound it is very to easy to see loose suspension points.
Also, you can check your ball joints at the same time (which could be the culprit), by doing this. Just as the floor jack unweighs the tires, the axle should lift the wheels and tires off the ground. If the balljoints are worn, there will be some play, that is as the axle lifts, the tire stays on the ground. Even the slightest lifting of the axle should lift the tire, otherwise there is some up and down play and that is bad.

Man that sucks. There is a lot of people getting the DW. If I was you I would pull the track arm off and inspect the bushings. If it is not damaged, I would crank it down pretty hard when I put it back. How much height did you get from that lift?
If I remember right almost 3 inches with HD springs, it has settled down some by now I'm sure.....David at Northridge could prolly give you more accurate numbers....
It sounds like you need to replace your steering stabilizer. This happened to me, when I checked the stock one was leaking around the shaft. I replaced it with one from trailmaster which happens to be twice the size of stock. Since then no problems
