For any of you curious what a VERY minor DW sounds/looks like:

This is just a very minor wobble, but even then you can see me start to swerve. For my own safety and the others on the road with me I did not do this any faster.

See at 0:38 I hit RR tracks at 45mph and no wobble. at 0:50 I hit a bump on a bridge doing 53MPH and you can hear it continue for 10+ seconds after.

There is no "very minor wobble"
Death wobble: it happens, or it not happens

Well, then it was not a DW in that video then.

But trust me, if i were doing 60 or 70 the camera probably would have torn off the dash and you would have heard a lot more. If not being able to control your vehicle and having your front tires play hop-scotch isn't DW then I don't know what is.

Difficult to explain because
First: I'm not an expert
Second: I not good enough in English to give you more technical details
Third: There is no DW write-up in JK-Project. I wrote a post about that, but no one seems interested...

Mine is just like that but at least 10 times worse. I can not clear the wobble until I almost stop and trust me that is hard to do on a busy highway. I am just glad that when it does happen all the cars and trucks around me run very far away from me.

It's close enough for me.

When I rode my sport bike I got in a state that the handlebars were snapping left and right near full lock out of control. It was to the point that I thought I was going to go end over end or the bike was going to just flop over sending me over the handle bars.

This is the same feeling, only i have 4 tires on the ground so the side to side wobble is not as severe and the handle bars are round... Instead both front wheels are moving so fast left and right that they bounce clear off the ground.

Try hitting a bump hard enough to pop your front end up an inch on your jeep... now imageint that several times a second. It was bouncing so hard that the soda bottle in my cup holder flew out and my glove box opened itself up. That was my frist experience with it in a 4-wheel vehicle.

I thought my entire front end was gone when it stopped...

Anyways... back to the point. Whatever it is called, it sucks ass.

All I want is it fixed so I can drive again without puckering my butt up every bump I hit. By the time this is finished, I'll have exercised the muscles so much down there I could pinch off loafs of titanium.

I know the feeling. I had a passenger stick his head out the and look at the front tire, the passenger just about sh1t his pants after he saw the tire wobbling outside the fender flare.

Watch the video

Imagine having that happen on a crowded freeway about 10x worse at 70mph.

And to everyone saying "That is not even close to DW" yes I know. I dont feel like going out on a freeway and possibly wrecking myself and others just to record it. The slower I go, the less it wobbles. The faster I go, the worse it gets... to the point I drove off the freeway not by choice.

I need to be going a minimum of ~50mph for it to start... I was doing 53 in that video. If I didnt slow down you would have seen it get worse.
