Question Death Wobble Wheel Spacers

I have a 2011 Mojave. I have it very lightly modded with ACE bumper, Gobi Rack, CB, and a few bolt on goodies. I have been toying with the idea of putting 1.5 Spidertrax spacers on to give it a more aggressive look. I will later be putting
12.50 on it when the 32s wear out. Is there any known connection between spacers and death wobble. I am going to be a new Dad and dont want to put my son in danger. Any info would be great.

I still have the stock 18" rims and tires on mine and put my Spidertrax 1.5" spacers on mine and no problems, been all the way up to 85mph. I will be mounting bigger tires next month, but shouldnt be a problem.

There is no connection between spacers and death wobble

Is it DW or strong wobble?

Read the thread of Planman about DW

As long as you buy quality spacers, not ebay cheapos, there is no problem. Make sure you follow the directions exactly, torque with a good torque wrench, and buy some extra loctite. (the packet they give you is skimpy) People use the term "death wobble" too much on here, it is violent uncontrollable run you off the road wobble, not a shimmy because of a tire out of balance.

Just follow the Write-Up on Project-JK and you'll be solid. No DW.
