Here's the situation...... I can sell my current 35" Mickey Thompson MTZ's tires all 5 for $1000 spare never touched about 1/2 the tread left and buy the Pitbull Rocker radials either 35" or 37" that's a dilemma in itself ..... If I stay 35" my plans are also to get the Bushwacker flat flares(or chop mine) but worry there might be too much space in wheel well(pic to follow). You tell me please!!
If I go 37" Pitbulls besides the extra weight on the components and more fuel loss lol I worry about my rear axle(Dana 44 on my 09 X JKU) do I then put in rear chromoly shafts too?????
I just spent a ton on my PR44 up front(Dynatrac ball joints, reid knuckles, RCV's etc) so I know that can handle it. OR. I can wheel one more summer(2014) with my Mickey MTZ's and next year buy only 3 new 35" Mickey MTZ's keep a couple old ones for emergency spares BUT that would still leave me wondering if there's too much gap with flat fenders..... I do and kinda don't have the cash.... I'm guessing too with a 37" tire spare mount on tailgate needs replacing(tire carrier).
SO WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK? Thanks
2 pics of my jeep 2 pics of the Pitbull tires
( oh by the way in winter I roll on 35" duratracs and steelies 5 mo's)

No reason to do it if you don't have the money. Your jeep is already tough. What I will say is I installed the Bushwhacker fenders today! I run a 3.5" rubicon express with 35 Toyos and I think it looks awesome

So the choice is:

Keep the 35's that you don't want, and next year buy '3' more 35's that you don't want.
-or-
Move up to bad-ass 37's that you DO want.

And you are having a hard time with this because? It's only money, right?

But, yes you will want to look at another option for hanging a 37" spare. And yes, rear chomo's would be a better choice than the stock shafts, but the odds are good that you won't bend a flange right away and will have time to save for them. Then again, g2's are under $300, so if shouldn't take long at all to have the money.

Why are you asking us? It's your jeep and your money.

But as long as 'I' am spending 'your' money, you're damn right you want 37's!!

I've ran both, I'm running 37's rockers now and my stock rear shafts didn't last long with them. The difference in the two are alot.

Yes. Get 37s. 35s will look to small.

nthinuf.... Lol... I must say I have loved my 35" MTZ's and part of me feels I should do the smart thing and stay that size and buy only 3 more OR even if I want to try the Pitbull's stay at 35" to save all the extra costs..... But you know us jeep owners and modaholics 37's are sure tempting. Maybe I'll pick up the Bushwacker flares or cut mine and see if the gap bothers me or not.
