decisions on suspension
Ive got two options, help me choose.
2.5 inch budget boost with fox 2.0 shocks, or the new rock krawler triple rate 2.5 stock mod with shock extensions for my red rubi shocks.
I do some light wheeling and im primarily looking for a smooth road ride. I currently have a set of 18/59 springs swapped into my 2 dr soft top and im gonna stick with my 32"bfgs. i also have a set of jks disconnects and an arb stubby and winch up front but there doesnt appear to be any sag.

The drive shaft is a whole different issue in itself. When lifting a jeep its never a definite "if" you will have DS issues, usually its more of a when. What you should do is just make a habit of going under your jeep and looking for grease spray out of the tcase. With your 2dr, the rear will become a problem before the front because of how much shorter it is than the 4dr rear. Again this is all theory and a bit of luck. I know JK505 is at almost 4"-5" of lift, and still on stock drive shafts, but some other guys will disco a stock jeep and blow a joint. Its really dependent on a lot of factors. If you decide to lift, and because you have disco's look into exhaust spacers.
Sticking with 32's I would say not to lift your jeep. It will most likely make your tires look small and you're going to want to get 33/35's. On a stock sport, without a lot of heavy additions (sliders, armor, rear bumper/carrier, over sized spare) the RK 2.5 will most likely bring you around 3", again making your tires looks small. If you just want a little more clearance, look at the 1.5" RK kit. That will give you a little higher ride height, and you can throw a good set of shocks on there with it. This will eliminate the need for new control arms and many other components that become a necessity at 2.5-3.5" of lift, and put less stress on your drive shaft.

At that lift height a driveshaft is not required and no modifications should be needed to your exhaust.
We would agree with most of what NJKURPat posted. Unless you're going to a 33-35" tire the lift kit is not immediately necessary. At that tire size you shouldn't even have to trim your pinch weld.

The new rk kit uses the 1.5" springs on the 2 drs but now im thinking about just throwing that money towards a genright rear bumper or maybe a set of shocks instead. Can you guys reccomend any that will give me a nice ride that smoothes out bumps better. These rubi shocks are ok but a bit stiff
Forgot to mention, the Rancho sport 2" lift had front springs and rear spacers. It's the best of a leveling, lift, and cheap kit. When I had my 2dr I ran it with the 9k shocks and I think it was like 400 shipped off Amazon.
