Default Deck Covers

Anyone have a duster deck cover on a 4dr jk yet. Does it allow you to have the back seats up? I am getting a bikini top here soon and want to get rid of the soft top. Deck Cover looks like a must.

look online at bestop or morris jeep 4x4 center

you can have the rear seats up or you can purchase an additional duster deck cover extension so that you can put the rear seats down and cover the addtional cargo space. This extension is useless if you have a bikini or safari top though as it will already cover that space naturally.

Default Duster cover on 4dr jk hardtop?

I had purchsed a bikini top and duster cover for my jk w/hard top. I have been told that I need a retainer bar and clips that come with the soft top in order to mount my duster cover. I called to find out about the tailgate retainer bar, they could not find the part # for my jeep, they did find one for an 04 that cost $124.00!! Thats as much as I paid for the cover. Has anyone mounted a bikini top and duster cover on a 4 door jk that came with a hardtop? Please give any info you have as I have not even taken the items out of the box and am now ready to sent them back if I don't find a solution.

Just be careful putting the deck cover on, I received mine last month, installed it and now have to get 3 estimates to fix the dimpling it caused on both sides of Jeep. I hope you live in a warm climate or have a very warm garage, the 70 or so degrees they recommend isn't adequated to properly loosen up the material in my opinion.

I do live in south florida and it's currently about 80 degrees so I can say that I installed mine above 70 degrees...

After I did some more reading I found the part numbers and have ordered them to be here on Fri. I live down here in South TX, luckily for us it is usually pretty warm. I believe the forecast for Fri is around 80. Thanks for the info, can always count on this site to find the answers I need.
