Default Delta Skybar

Anyone know if the windshield frame dimensions on the JK unlimited is the same as the '06 model. Was thinking about getting the Delta Skybar. Called Delta and they are not sure if the Skybar will fit the new Jeeps as they have not tried it.

I would tend to doubt it very much, since the JK as a whole is wider. But that is just a guess.

Not sure what a Delta skybar is. What dimension are you looking for? I have an 06 and 07 sitting right next to each other in my garage. The JK is curved and the tj is flat.

Don't know why they would have told you that. I met them at Off Road Evolution while they were taking dimensions on his JK. More than the width, the problem they were going to run into is with the windshield mounts. As you know, it's a totally different design.

I'll guess a Skybar is a bar above the windshield frame to which lights are afixed ? Just curious as I've never heard of it before.

I spoke directly with the national sales manager and they have not tried to fit one on the JK. I suspect from all the comments above that it will not fit properly. The crossbar is 57" wide and the arms are 20" long. Here is a pic, let me know if you think that it can fit:

These lights are a pretty sweet design! I've never seen them before. I've always wanted to get some sort of light bar but I need to maintain some decent clearance cause I end up in parking garages once in a while. These look like a great solution for not raising the height of the vehicle, I'm already struggling with how much lift/tires to do. Hopefully they'll do a JK design.

They're not gonna work. I just installed a pair of KC lights on the windshield hidge of my Rubicon and counld use the TJ brackets due to the holes not matching the bolt set up, and I'm pretty sure thats where the skybar mounts.

That's what I was afraid of. I will let Delta know and maybe they will eventually come out with this setup for the JK.
