Default Dented Exhaust

Has anyone had this issue with their exhaust ?
I assume it is the rear track bar that has cause the damage
due to the increase in articulation from the 4" lift?

Cheers.

Mine has the same dent a little further forward, happened with no lift... noticed it when I was installing the Budget boost, Mine looks as if it was actually the rear axle that hit it.

Dirk thanks for that info .
I had another close look and it is the rear axle that caused the damage.
Possible solution, change the exhaust?
Any thoughts?

That pinch is there from the factory. You did nothing to cause that. Take a look at most vehicles and they will have that same type pinch above the axle.

actually every JK ever built has this dent... its not a dent at all, at least not one that articulation caused. Its put there at the factory for clearance issues at full flex. Its supposed to be there so don't let it bother you. I've got it, you've got and so does everyone else. Just like we're supposed to.

I understand it might of been from the factory but why does it look like it is all scratched up!

I need to go look at a brand new one at the dealer and see for sure. but I thought that was what the high arch in the exhaust pipe over the axle was for.

Save the gas from the drive, every single JK on the lot will have that pinch there, unless of course it has an aftermarket exhaust.
Why the doubt?

Just because mine looked really scratched up when I was installing the lift.
