Diablo Predator Tuner
So what do I do with my newly ordered diablo?! Haha can I bring it to you guys to tune? I just called up this Subaru/rice rocket kinda place that has a dyno near me and they said this wouldn't be a problem and they can tune specifically for the headers. Do you guys have a tune you can preset so I can save some bones or not yet?

Touche. That's what I'll do. I drove over there today and Ross (who was extremely awesome) said they're coming out with a tune at probably the end of the summer. So i'm just going to run a canned tune for now and wait until then.
Nope, I was actually thinking about it yesterday. Ripp said they were coming out with a custom tune for the headers so i'm gonna call em today. I really don't want to spend all the money on a custom tune = [
Haven't called yet, however I did call a dyno shop and they said I could do a street tune for 270 or a dyno for 450. These are completely custom ecu tuning. Think it's worth it?
I just had a Dyno Tune done on my '09 JK. I am running a K&N CAI, Ripp Long Tube Headers and a Gibson Dual Port Exhaust. I am thinking about changing the Gibson out.. Availability is the issue here.
My tuner is CMR Qualified and did some research before we started. We settled on a setting that gave us 182 RWHP and 224 Ft/lbs of Torque with an air intake temperature of 95F. My seat-o-pants meter really notices the change - we just installed the headers. We are going to run this setting until we get cooler weather in about 2 months and then see if we can push for 190. My JK is my tuners first 3.8l, he specializes in Hemi Conversions and has his own 620HP JK with a 6.1l and turbo and he was surprised at what we got in my "stocker".
I wonder what everyone else is seeing...

i've finally done my diablo custom tune at extreme performance
i have an auto JK
before tunning
with 4.88s, sprintbooster, k&n CAI, Borla LT headers and MBRP cat-back
i got 153 RWHP and 190 Ft/lbs
after tunning
although i've an auto, we could get 181 RWHP ( at 4500 rpm )and 220 Ft/lbs ( at 4200 rpm)
I don't feel a lot of difference between the custom tune and the standard tune of diablo on road
but i am going to test it on the dunes this weekend and see how will it performs
all by all, i am happy by the numbers i've got, they are almost as yours so i am good

Just got mine in the mail. Anyone recommend anything when I tune? I'm going to use the 87 preset tune and adjust my tire size. Any programs to download or recommendations when I do this? I'm so happy!!!
