Default dialing in lift

Is it possible to get your lift dialed in without adjustable lower control arms. Im on the fence with the Rancho short arm with the rebates. Im impressed with their customer service being Ive already asked them quite a few questions. Im not a JK genius but I do understand the benefits of lowers being adjustable. Im not a hard core wheeler its pretty much a weekend toy for me and the wife. Ive looked at every lift available and see the benefits of the adjustable track bars vs. brackets. If I go with Rancho I can spend the extra on axle gussets the flip kit if needed. if not I will probably have to wait and do more side work for the cost of TF or FT short arm. Any opinions welcome.

I jsut re-read your post. Are you talking about the Sport or the Short Arm lift? The sport has brackets, the short arm has adjustable uppers and fixed lowers. The lowers are longer than stock, so with the adj uppers, there is no need for adj lowers.

I was looking at the short arm lift. With adjustable uppers and longer lowers why do they need to be adjustable? Maybe a dumb question, I dont know.

I assumed you were talking about the kit with brackets. You'll be fine with the short arm. The longer lowers will get the caster in the ballpark, the adj uppers will let you dial it in.

The only reason you would want the adj lowers would be to move the entire axle forward/backward in the wheel well.

Go with the aev control ARM drop brackets. They bring the control arms down and almost into a stock position. I just installed them and its night and day difference. Awsome ride and handling now with those on. For reference I'm running a rc 3.5 lift.
