Default dielectric grease on edisco

I hear this can prevent corrosion on the harness of the edisco unit. Has anyone done this before or is there a how to to administer this stuff the right way? Thanks

dielectric grease can be applied to any connection....as far as I know if you unplug the harness and apply a liberal amount it should work fine, any extra will just ooze out

dielectric n. A nonconductor of electricity

Keep in mind when applying dielectric grease to connectors, don't go wild with the stuff.
It promotes electrical conduction by blocking water intrusion into the connectors, thereby preventing corrosion.
It can also prevent electrical conduction by not allowing the metal contacts to touch each other.

Use it sparingly on the metal contacts. Concentrate on using it on the connector body sealing surfaces.
