Diesel conversion?
That's a lot of motor... will that even fit without hacking the firewall and then building a new trans hump to allow dodge trans so you can properly handle all of that torque?!?
I hope you got some built up axles to handle that low rpm power. A Dana 30 won't stand a chance against that combo, and I believe a Rubi 44 might even be stressed heavily and worn out veryyyyy quickly especially with a lift.

This video demonstrates a 3.9L 4BT engine by Bruiser Conversion.
http://youtu.be/ZCpCl13lDCE Also, there are jeeper's out there that swap a 6BT (5.9L) into their jeeps. Larger and heavier than the 4BT. If you decide on this option, you'll have to strengthen the frame and cut into the firewall for the engine to be able to fit.
I hope this helps.

I would recommend no lower than D60's. These engine's can create crazy amount of torque.
I have seen the 3.9l 4bt but I wasn't sure if it was a good motor. Either way it'll be an expensive set up regardless, I think bruisers 4bt conversions start at 18.5k which is like having stupid money, cause that ain't cheap...
but as soon as you mention firewall relocation and custom trans humps on a nearly brand new vehicle, you can count me out! Haha
That was my exact thought, I have buddies that swap them into their old fords and the 9in ford rear ends break like hard candy in January. They rip the rear ends apart all the time. That motor is to much for the JK, in my opinion. But to each his own

14mpg!! Whoa, I'm averaging like 18-19 all highway with 3.21s and 33s... You need to lay off the skinny pedal my friend!! Lol
The 4bt is a good engine and you can get the engine brand new for around 6100 to 6800 bucks. The conversion kit itself is about 5-6k and the rest is labor, if you dont do it yourself.
Uh I'm running stock gears, whatever they are.and 33 inch nittos. Haven't had a chance to get the ecu reflashed. So my speedo is off 5 mpgs and yeah ham mileage is sucking... And I'm not really heavy on it. So idk what the deal is.
