I'm sorry if it is just me, but those prices to swap the motor are just ridiculously high. $18-20K for a motor swap......no way.

I spoke to my dealer not to long ago about the diesel wrangler. If they produce them it's a 5k upgrade. The biggest issue right now is the diesel is floping horribly in the cherokee due to its total cost.

^^^thats because only women buy the Cherokees to get the kids to school in!! Should have been in the wrangler first anyway.

Agreed. Don't understand why they did this. Should have put it into a JK 1st. I believe a lot of JK owners would have loved this...

Banks kit is rumoured to be around 30k. Motor, tranny and aftercooler.

4bt new is pricey but a good used one is only a step van away for under 5s just sayin.
