Default Diff breathers?

At what point should I consider diff breather kit? Factory water fording spec is 30"...mine sits about 3.5 inches higher than stock. And what are the recommended breather types?

If you don't feel the factory location is high enough, get some hose and male to male barbed ended unions and extend your line.... or switch out to to Trail Gear item and make things real easy.

I just measured 35" to the top of the right, rear tube end. I guess this factory breather takes care of the rear. Is there separate one for the front axle? t-case? tranny?

Yup, front breather is next to top of the left shock.
Tranny and t-case also have their own breathers, they end somewhere between the engine and firewall.

Auto tranny does, six speed just has the nipple, no hose.

Why anyone would recommend an over priced kit of barbed connections and hose is beyond me... by hey, enjoy your day.

Because it saved a lot of time that I didn't have to be able to open the box and install in twenty minutes, and unlike the DIY job, my breathers are breathing from my snorkel, not just extended an extra ten inches and still exposed. No water worries here!

Better be safe then sorry and it takes about half hour to do it. Some folks recommended the rubber fuel line stuff but it was a couple bucks a foot which was insane locally. I forget the name but I went with some other kind of automotive breather hose. Got a bunch left over for who knows what down the road. I extended the rear to the rear tail light. Front to the top and back of the engine bay and the transfer case to the gear shift area I think it was, that one was a bit of a pain. Don't recall if I picked up the male/male ends at the same auto parts store or at Lowe's.

I'd pass on any kit personally due to how cheap the parts are, all it is is a hose...

Edit: Could also run it to the snorkel if I wanted due to the extra length, but figured if I manage to take on water to where they are now I probably have larger issues at hand and would be flushing the diffs anyways or considering a write off lol
