I have the Solid ones. I like them fine but if your buying them for a Rubicon, you will have to do some grinding around the fill plug.

I have Riddlers. They are super strong and bolt right on. No clearance problems, with or without an adjustable rear trac bar, no grinding... No problems with the front either.

The riddlers clear everything.

The riddlers dont require any grinding .

The riddlers dont take a odd size allen for the fill plug.

My vote is for the riddlers.

I had the Riddlers a year ago on my TJ Rubicon. I actually like the Solid ones better. Just my opinion. I like the look of them better. You just have to grind a lip off that is around the fill plug because if you don't it will hit that electric swith I'm callin it on the locker. This is because the fill hole is higher on the Solid. Something Solid should fix but instead send a nice little letter in the box. Not a big deal just a little time consuming!! Hope my OPINION helps!!!

Grinding the SOLIDs is a five minute deal. Both SOLID and Riddler are made of nodular iron, you can't hurt either one if you tried. Let appearance and price govern which you buy (I like the hammered black/silvertone finish and ribbed effect on my SOLIDS personally).
