I talked with AEV a couple of months ago about the 9th Degree diff sliders. They have sliders available for the older D44's, but said they absolutely wouldn't fit the JK axles. They said they were working on sliders for ours and they would be out soon....

As far as peel back and the covers I've seen two different ones (Solid, ARB) and you'd really have to work it in a major way to get that to happen. They did a nice job of not leaving a lip to catch on.

The seepage on the guards seem to come from trying to sandwich the cover between the guard and housing. My vote's for a cover.
