I too have heard great reviews about Crane, but haven't been able to track some down for D30/D44. The only thing I'm worried about the Riddler is the bolts being too recessed and not being able to torque them down.

And I do remember the post about diff covers rubbing on track bars. This does concern me also, but that was seen in a Solid, Dynatrac, and a Riddler diff cover.

Hmm decisions decisions...

That's an interesting way to test a diff cover. Not sure it's real world for a diff cover, but non the less, an interesting read. I'm surprised to see the Riddler testing above the Crane. Previously, I thought that Crane was using better steel... marketing hype maybe.

Before I purchased the Riddler covers, I called and asked if they had any problems with track bars. The only track bar that they had run into problems with, was the JKS. Sounds like the FT TB has some issues also. My stock track bars do not rub at all.

Decisions... good luck, and thanks for posting that info. up.

With Solid, Dynatrac, and PSC is they have those ridges that could be rubbed on if the track bar touches and rubs on it. Something that could just be fixed with a grinder or something.

Riddler is pretty smooth faced and if the track bar does rub I fear it would make a hole from constanting contact.

Hell, my silicon seals leaked which is why I went with Lubelock's. No problems or issues with them what so ever. When I yank the covers again, Lubelock'rs are going back in there.

I really wish the ARB had been in the competition. I love their look and the oil dipstick.
