Default Diff Fluids Q

Gents,

I just installed the SOLID Diff 44 and 35 covers on my JK thanks to WayOfLife's awesome write up - with no problems.

Just have a quick question - I had read that filling to the new fill holes is overfilling since they sit higher up (I have no lift).

I put 2 quarts in the 44, and 1.5 quarts in the 35, is this enough? Is there anyway I can tell if I need to put more in over time?

Thanks for any help.

The new diff covers will allow for more fluid and I would recommend that you add just a bit more. Specifically, I would fill it to the point where if you stick your finger into the fill hole and bend it at the middle knuckle, the tip of your finger touches the fluid.
