Default diff oil in engine compartment

i changed out the front diff oil, apparently overfilled. took a road trip and it seems that the oil has come out of an air fitting comeing from the arb locker to the compressor. what just happened and does anyone feel damage has been done or is there anything i should do like some typw of flush in the air line?? anyone else seen this before? shouldnt there be some type of check valve in the system to prevent this???? any thoughts appreciated

If you over filled, the seals will not hold the overage in.It will force it out the axle ends or in your case the vent tubes .Check your gear oil level (just to the plug )clean it up with some simple green and wash all that crap off and I hope your good to go...J.H.

Did the oil come out around the hole in the housing for the air line, or out of the breather line in the engine bay? If it came out around your air line, it should be resealed to keep water out. Water is the enemy of axles/gears as it displaces the oil. If it came up the air line itself it should be flushed as you do not want to turn on your expensive compressor and have it try to compress oil, it won't happen and you'll need a new piston and rod for the pump. If it came out the breather line in the engine bay, drain it and refill only to the bottom of the fill plug. How in the world did you get it that full to begin with?

thanks alot man, im not sure which one, but yes it was the actual air line from the diff to the air compressor. the air line has a little block looking thing on it and the oil seemed to come through there.i have not run the compressor. i will figure out a way to flush the line, appreciate it

That little block is prolly a check valve, keeps the air from blowing back into the compressor
