Default Difference in Lifts, what do I really need?

I have pretty much settled on the Full traction lift. I was considering the teraflex but there are a few things that have always bothered me about them.

Anyway, my JK will mostly be a street ride for the wife. We do hit the trails on the weekends in the summer to go camping and fishing. No hardcore stuff just light trails. Have only "needed" 4-lo a few times. Needs good ride since it will be driven quite a bit.

I am looking at the 3" full traction lifts.
The Econo 3"
Premium 3"

What will fit my needs the best? I don't mind spending more for the premium if it will give me a better onroad ride. When the jeep isn't the DD I plan on upgrading to the ultimate lift. What benefits are gained by going with the kit with the lower arms?

Thanks
Bryan

If you need your ride to be the best possible, I would go with the Premium kit. The lower control arms that come with the kit are designed to reposition your axles back out to the appropriate position underneath your Jeep and should help keep your ride feeling like stock. This may not be such a big deal if you have an unlimited but in a 2-door, this can make a big difference in the quality of your ride. Also, I would recommend you getting the M-Force shocks over the hydros. They too will contribute to a great ride.

Thanks Wayoflife,

I was curious if the lca's fixed the angles down there. I kind of thought they would. I was planning on the m-force shocks. I will plan on getting the premium kit then. Should be a lot of fun, will be my first install too.

Thanks,
Bryan
