Default Difference in wheels

After a long series of trying to pick wheels and tires, and help from other members here.I am going from 18" to 17".
I have narrowed it down to
Pro Comp 8101 Black with Cooper S/T in a 275-70-17 (32.2x11.3x17)
According to thier webite.
My only other question is which size wheel should I order. They come in 2 sizes
17 x 9 in a 4.78 backspace -6 offset
17 x 8 in a 4.5 backspace 0 offset.
What would be better?
I have read here to try and stay away from negative offsets.
Thanks to all members that helped me out.
