I was going to go that route and fortunately a wiser head prevailed (my wife's). What is that stuff, $45 a quart? I just used flat black Rustoleum, looks good and a touch-up is a few shakes away. Don't know if you'd really need the High-temp stuff (like you paint BBQ's with).

i used to love seeing the clear diff covers made of out lexan... those were so cool i have not seen them for a while now though i guess they were not as popular as i thought.

I got the Solid differential covers. I am very happy with them, except for one small thing that kind of bugged me. For some reason the finish/color is different on my front cover than on my rear cover. They must have been coated in seperate batches. The front one is a dark grey and black speckled color, while the rear is a bright silver and black speckled color. It kind of bugged me when I received them. I am a girl though, so having things match perfectly is probably more important to me than it would be for guys. In the end I decided it's no big deal. It's not like anyone will notice, since you can't see both at the same time anyway.

yeah, they have them powder coated. your right different batch's will be slightly different..

Go hit them off some rocks, They'll match!
