Default Differential Oil? Need some help

Ok so i was told to check my diffarential oil to see if it was milky from contamination. So i did and it was fine, but when i unscrewed the 3/4 bolt on the differential cover it started pouring out. I was told that it was suppossed to be level with the hole.
So what should i do
the oil was still dark grey/black
i have 12K on this oil

Were you driving it just before you unscrewed the bolt? Was the fluid at operating temp? Im pretty sure that like your oil it is a cold fill level

I think you can look at WOL write up...it just gives you an excuse to change the diff oil. To the top is sufficient I think...

my factory oil was WAY more than the refill and change I put back in though. still makes me wonder if I filled enough...
