Default Dimensions for aluminum spacers?

I can't think of a reason not to whip up a set of spacers on my own from aluminum. I am thinking 1.75" for the front and an inch in back, anyone got the dimensions of a set of BB spacers? Anyone think of a reason why a solid aluminum spacer wouldn't be OK? I've got access to a CNC and scrap aplenty so they would be free but for my time, and I'm lookin for something to occupy that anyway. Thanks.

looks like the overall dia. is 5 1/16" and the center hole dia. is 2 5/8".
just remember to get shock extensions or longer shocks.
i just wonder how the aluminum will wear over time vs. steel or poly

Aluminum is a great choice. I am pretty sure a few of the more expensive kits use aluminum.

I thought you were taking about wheel spacers at firs, and I was like, "wow, that's pretty ballzy. Body or suspension spacers are something you could do if you have the CNC or lathe machine at your disposal.

I wish I had mine to measure, but they are already installed. I will look to see if the dimensions are listed in the directions. I doubt it, but if they are I will post them.

Thanks for the opinions and specs, I'll probably get around to this in a few weeks and will post back with results. If someone else makes or has made a set, please post up!
