Default direct fit muffler

anyone know of a direct fit replacement muffler?? I have been searching, no luck. I'm not looking for a catback system, I would just like to replace the factory muffler with a performance type. I found one advertised on ebay from dynomax, I don't see how it is a "direct oe replacement" with the inlet/outlet combo though. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing direct that I know of due to the design. A shop will have to make a small 90 to fit any aftermarket muffler. I just had a Flowmaster 50 series SUV installed on mine for 140 bucks.
Any muffler will work as long as it's a 2.5" offset inlet.

roger that, thanks. I just didn't want to hack it up too much. Plus trying to keep it low budget, but the pacesetter route i could try i guess, as long as it isn't too "rice rocket"....
thanks guys

How do you like your 50 series? I've been looking for a new exhaust but want something that isn't super loud.

I am happy with my Flowmaster Delta 50. It was $125.00 installed, has a nice mellow sound, takes up a lot less room than the stock unit, and helped a little in the power department.
