Default Direct me to a driveshaft lesson :-)

So i have been on the forum for a while now and after alot
of questions and learning i know what i am doing as far as
lift and tires and will be doing thoes in about amonth or two
when money allows Learned alot of other good stuff too

One thing i dont know much about is driveshafts!
I know i should be ok with my stock ones with 2.5"bb,
but want to start looking into them cause i know i should
upgrade them as soon as i can after i lift it,
(especially since i have the two door) and i plan to upgrade
to a 3" ultimate lift when i can.

First off, YES, i have used search, found alot of getting
longer driveshafts (i know) and i also found stuff that
confused me cause i dont know really anything about them,
like peoples boots ripping and different kinds and all that

To sum it all up, does anyone have a link to a thread
thats bassically a lesson on driveshafts so i can learn what all
the parts are, whats needed, and anything else i need to know

Thanks in advance for help for the newb

I read about the front driveshaft on the automatics. Will they break with 3"+ lifts? Is that why you need the double cardigan u joint unit? Or, will just cutting the tranny skid plate save the drive shaft? Thanks for the info.

Is the nut for the driveshaft the same size as the nut that holds the wheel on the axle?
