Default Dirt bike trailer?

Have a crf250 and a crf50 for my son. I've seen those dirt bike racks that go on the back of trucks where the hitch is. Will that work for my jku. My jku is lifted with a 3.5 lift on 35 and I have the or fab gas can tire carrier. Need to figure out how to get my bikes to the desert or should I just get a trailer. Thanks guys.

380-400 lbs combined, too much for receiver hitch. Can get a small utility trailer at harbor freight or tractor supply that will carry both for 400$

I agree. You need a utility trailer. That's too much tongue weight. I have thrown my sons 50 in the back of the jeep though. Also, if you have a spare tire hanging off the back you are going to need an extension to even get the bike to fit and that will create a ton of leverage. Not a good idea.

Agreed, go with a trailer. I have quads that I trailer to the local motocross tracks. I bought a 16' triton aluminum trailer. Works great, the trailer only weighs about 700lbs, with 3 sport quads it is about 2000lbs total. Makes it easy to pull behind my JKU with a 6sd, 37" tires, and 4.88s.
