Default Disco lengths

It was just brought to my attention today that my sway bar is far from being parrell to my frame. I never really took notice until now. I have the TF 3" lift. I am about 3-4 inches short of lining up along the frame with my sway bar. Did i get the wrong length end links? Anyone..??

I have the opposite concern, stock suspension with the Teraflex 0-3" quick discos, the Teraflex units are significantly longer than the stockers so the bar will be cranked upwards. Sounds like their 0-3" discos would be perfect for you, though you might want to get the 4-6" if you intend to do anything else in the future.

If your sway bar isn't parallel and it's pointing down then, yes, your links are too short.

I'm running the TF 4" with JKS discos and they are about 12" long and the sway bar is just about parallel. That gives you an idea of length.

Keep in mind, the TF lifts tend to be larger than advertised so an adjustable set of front links might be your best bet.

For the front you can get JKS (or other brand) adjustable disconnects for the swaybar. For the rear you just need extended or adjustable links. If you take your Jeep into a good 4x4 shop they should be able to tell you what you need and order it. Don't forget to support your local guys.

maybe someone can elaborate but its my understanding the sway barshould be paralell with the lower control arm, in other words the part of the sway bar your front links connect to that part of it which points front to back....maybe WOL can elaborate....again, something someone told me but not sure myself...

The JKS adjustables suggest +/- 5 degrees of horizontal. Not parallel to any other components that may or may not be horizontal...

I have the 3" TF and my swaybar is almost horizontal and/or only 1-2 degrees lower than being perfectly parallel with the frame. I haven't had any issues so far, but also haven't had too many opportunities to fully test it out yet either.

There have been a couple reports on this forum of wrong-length links allowing "hyperextension" of the swaybar joint.
In other words, after flexing, instead of rotating back up, the swaybar rotated forward.
