Disconnecting Question
Thats what most do, I plan on experimenting with disconnecting my rear even though it is so frowned upon here and they only thing people can argue is the off camber lean to it. As long as you adjust your driving for it you should be fine. IE pick a different line, smooth throttle and brake inputs. There are plenty of more top heavy vehicles without sway bars.
You can disconnect the rear but that would be for serious rock crawling. In most cases the front is fine. The rear is a lot thinner which will give plenty of flex. If you do disco the rear double and triple check brake lines, brake cable, and electrical lines are long enough!

We don't run sway bars at all. You just need to realize you don't have sway bars and adjust your driving. It is 100% better to wheel with no sway bars at all when on the rocks. It is actually better to use sway bars when in mud though.

I ran 33's all last year, no bumpstops and always had the rear disconnected. Had no issues with brake lines or anything. I constantly look under my jeep to see how things look. Now I have brake line extensions, bumpstops and am running 35's. I will still four wheel with both disconnected.
