TF also sells those storage pins separate from their QD kit if someone has their heart set on a different brand of QDs.

Whether the pins are in or out doesn't matter so long as you have the clearance to get them in. The C's are fixed.

I run yet a different brand - AND I have a Rubicon with the auto disconnects. I can use either the auto system or completely take the arms off so I don't have to worry about the 18mph limitation.

Will these storage pins work with the JKS disconnects?

I use the JKS as well, havent had no problems. Just takes a couple of minutes to get them off and a couple of minutes to put them back on.

I just ordered a set of the Rough Country diconnects that should be here today. For the price, $50, I couldn't beat it and they appear as they will do the job just fine. One of my biggest reasons for going this route is that they have the bracket that allows you to flip the disconnect up and store it while disconnected. I have JKS control arms and really like them and was actually going to get the JKS disconnects until I read the directions. I know this sounds silly, but they say to use a bungee cord or zip ties to tie the sway bar out of the way when disconnected. Why should I spend $150 for disconnects and then have to jerry rig my sway bar out of the way when the Rough Country ones have a way to store the disconnects and sway bar for $100 less. Just my thoughts.

Simply a quality issue. Had a Rough Country lift on a previous Jeep and to be honest it was utter crap.
Should the JKS come with a mount to store them, sure, wouldn't bother me, but throwing a quick bungee on isn't really a big deal either. Had RE discos on a Cherokee and oddly enough it was sometimes a pain to get them on the "storage pins" when disconnected.

Of course, just my two cents.

I have the TF disconnects with brackets, and I still zip tie them out of the way. Easier to me to cut them off with the knife than pulling the pin. But easy either way.

I don't see why the TF brackets would not work. They are built to fit the extenders, and those are pretty standard in diameter.

Ya, i just get down their with a zip tie and throw that on. Seems easier then trying to line up pins and putting the discos on them. Just pull them off and throw them in the back.
