DIY turbo on a 3.8 ?

DIY turbo on a 3.8 ?
has anyone explored the idea of adding a turbo to a 3.8 motor?
obviously there'd be some fabricating and piping involved, and afterwards a visit to a tuning shop.
just wondered.
i'm pretty handy (millwright) so the DIY brackets etc. aren't daunting, and you can pick up a used Eaton on ebay for pretty cheap.
campare that to $3000+ for a blower kit, ...now THAT's daunting!
anyway, anyone tried that, or looked at possibilities?
