Default lockers

If he is Going to change his gearing would that not require a locker change due to the difference in size. And the rubi should allready have 4.10's and a 4 to 1 transfer case you should be ok what size tires are you going to

wha... just as an FYI for anyone that doesn't know... its the gears that need changing when going bigger on tires. the gears bolt onto the lockers which is part of the differential. a locker is a locker. yes, some are built tuffer then others, but just because you go with bigger tires, doesnt mean you have to change it out.

Okay, now I'm depressed. Might as well do something to cheer myself up like go to work so I can afford to put a front locker and a 4:1 transfer case in some day.

Default size

I guess I should have said the size of the gear I know from pricing and trying to order lockers that the size of the gear changes the locker you are buying because it is to big or to small to bolt to the ring. unless I read it wrong?

Dude, you have factory lockers. You don't have to worry about that kind of stuff like us poor lockerless underclass.

People ask if the JK killed the Jeep Wave.

Nope, it just attracts idiots to the fold. This thread is proof positive.

only two things change that will change the size of the locker. A)the axle its going in, and B)the spline count. now the axle its meant for will change it much more then the spline count. the gears are also made for that particular axle size. so if you are doing a D60, get a locker built for a D60 and gear sets for a D60 sized locker. if you get gears meant for a D44 locker, they'll be too small. But i gotta ask, why are you installing lockers when you already have them?
