Do I need to reset before going to dealer?
Taking my 2010 Sahara unlimited in to dealer next week for water on driver side floor. Just bit new tires and wheels on last week (285/70R17) and used the AEV pro cal to set for new tires. Do I need to reset it to original settings before going to dealership? Worried if I do they may questions millage accuracy. I'm at 34300 right now.
If your that worried about the dealership saying anything. Have them note on your work order not to flash the computer for anything and that you have a programmer for corrected speedo/ tire size.

I have a ProCal and have never restored for the dealer. Even when I took it in for a PCM recall flash. There's an AEV FAQ that states it isn't necessary, too.
I can't imagine that they'd question the mileage. They'd have a tough time proving you intentionally used the device to program for tires you don't have if your speedo is accurate now.

Worried that they might say.... Because I did not program that my mileage who be inaccurate. This service department seems to be good to work with I just don't like taking a chance either way.
I have the AEV ProCal as well and used it to set my 35" tires. I took the Jeep into the dealer for some engine work and they called back asking what size my tires were. I told them, and he complained that they were too big for their computer to set the speedometer. I told them not to flash if they can't handle a simple tire size change.
