Default Do I need spacers

This might be on here already but I coouldnt find anything about it. Do you have to run spacers for bigger tires on a jeep w/ stock rims. I have a 09 4dr Rubicon and I am wanting to put 35's and was wondering if I need spacers for the front and back to run those tires on my stock rims. Any info will be helpful. Thanks

With stock rims and installing a wider tire you'll have too. Get some 1 1/2" spacers and you'll be fine.

Start with the FAQ's (nailed right to the top of this modified area...)

Q: What back spacing will I need on my wheels in order to clear 12.50 wide tires?
Q: What is backspacing?
Q: What are wheel spacers?

You will also notice that most lift mfg's suggest a 4.50 or less BS. (All stock rims have a 6.25" BS)

Not exactly hijacking here, but I've got the same question. I'm putting on a 2.5" coil lift and I'm keeping my stock wheels for now. I guess I'll need spacers. I'll have to order some 1.5" spacers, I guess. Dang! Emptying another pocket!
