Default Pitman Arm

I have the 2dr X and the one I rented was unaltered except for the shocks and 2.5 inch BB lift. Even the tires and wheels were a match but it steered much quicker and felt like a little sports car. Here's a pic of it

and the same angle of mine.

This is as it sets now

I gave this one a good road test yesterday and can confirm the new pitman arm works as it should and tracks very straight. A u-turn is also much quicker and tighter as it now turns to the stops with no tire rub. The arm is 2.5 inch drop, almost 8 inches center to center and doesn't come too near the frame or any thing else. In a week or 2 we'll head to Moab one last time and the first time in my own Jeep. H.R. 1925 is very near now and is designed to hammer fist the middle class from the recreational direction. Temps should be cool to cold but I'll never notice, you know what I mean.

I don't know what to tell you other than over time I think these inferior steering boxes develop slop. I have upgraded the tie rod and drag link and still have the weird over center feel.
