Does anyone have 4.56s in stock?
I'm about to regear my 6 speed rubicon. 4.56s are my first choice and I think the perfect gear for my setup. Dave at Northridge said the 4.56s are back ordered for a year. So I went ahead and ordered 4.88s.
All the parts have shown up and I'm about ready to do it. I keep looking at the RPM calculators and I still think i'd prefer the 4.56s. So before I get the 4.88s done I figured I'd ask if anyone knew of anyone who have 4.56s in stock.
Thanks!

Well I ended up doing the 4.88s. I just picked the jeep up a few hours ago. They're awesome. The 4.88s aren't nearly as extreme as I thought they'd be. I was worried 1st was going to be useless. It's completely useable. Overall it's about perfect in my opinion. I was expecting my gas mileage to go into the toilet but in the 50 - 60 miles I drove around today it actually appears to be up a little bit.
The crawl in 4-lo with the and the 4:46:1 1st gear and the 4:1 rubi transfer case and 4.88s is awesome!
So just in case anyone else is on the fence about 4.56s versus 4.88s on a 6 speed with 35s here's my opinion. Unless you are on the freeway 1+ hour every day at 80+ MPH definately get the 4.88s.
