Does anyone have a superwinch?
I was looking at a superwinch and was wondering if anyone could give me a little input on the reliability and performance of these in comparison to any other winches?
I've had the same thoughts. Read this article, it definately made up my mind. I'll save some cash and buy the superwinch!

I had one on my Ford F150 for almost 4 years and never had a problem. Worked great! I'm going to buy another for the JK after I get my bumpers! For the money in my opinion you can't go wrong!
I have had the Warns and had solenoid problems plus I had problems dealing with their warranty folks. I now have a Superwinch EPi 9 and have used it a bunch in the past three weeks due to ice storms and floods here in Missouri. I LOVE MY SUPERWINCH! It is on an 08 Rubicon Unlimited with a Lod front bumper.
If you check on this thread under the title from a couple of days ago "Winch Relibbilty" you will see a lot of opinions on winches but for my $$, I have no hesitation in buying the Superwinch!
The solenoid on the Superwinch is a MUCH better design than Warn is presently using. I know a lot of folks love their Warns but to each his own.

I just bought a Superwinch EPi9 and this article helped me make my mind up. I have nothing against a Warn winch...but when i can get a winch just as reliable for half the price, with 125 feet of cable, fairlead roller and a pulley block standard....its hard to say no.
