I purchased a $hittybuilt and am very dissatisfied with the bumper. The bolts did not match up to my frame and I had to drill the holes on my frame to get the bolts to fit. When all was done, one side of the bumper was quarter of an inch higher than the other. It is an inch longer on one side than the other. we won't even talk about the weld quality. Absolute crap.

Oh... one last important fact. I purchased it primarily because I wanted a full bumper that was light. Smitty told me it was around 60 lbs. Darn thing weights more than my winch and that weights 94 lbs. They can't even be honest about the weight!

Not sure if everyone has QT gas stations near them but they had these signs above the pump for a while a year or so back.

Well, I took my bumper back to 4 wheel parts and they are exchanging it free of charge. No arguements. Hopefully, the next bumper is better.

Sucks for the bad one. I have had 0 problems with my Smittybilt XRC. Earlier you posted about the weight. I don't know which version you bought but mine is the XRC with winch mount and I don't think there's anything wrong with a heavy bumper as just from looking at mine you can tell there is some beef to it. Not sure of the exact weight but I installed mine by myself and could lift it with both arms from the ground to the Jeep with no problem. I guess being able to bench press 350 lbs doesn't hurt either
