Wondering if the springs need to be turned more on the wedges and shorten the LCAs ?

i had this issue on mine. i ended up getting the jks adjustable spring perches. the problem comes from how they weld the stock perches on the tube. once u raise the pinion to fix the angle u get this problem. teraflex and some others make new weld on perches also.

also RK has u move the rear swaybar mounts back 1". thats what we did when we installed my friends 3.5 RK lift. its in there instructions.

Ah! Maybe that is why. I started with the 2.5" kit and then upgraded to the 3.5". Ill have to check the instructions for the 3.5" to make sure I didn't miss anything else.

Thanks!

Rick.

Hearing that you hadn't gone with the exact lift I did so you hadn;t moved the axle back makes some sense to my limited knoweledge about this stuff!
Yep, I started with the 2.5" kit and then went to the 3.5. I essentially have everything that makes the 3.5" X-Factor kit (With the exception of the rear track bar). Last night I adjusted my arms for the X-Factor length and that is where I ran into these issues. I just looked through the installation instructions again and don't see any mention of moving the rear sway bar back, but it definitely makes sense. Appears that 3/8" self tapping bolts are needed.

I had the exact same problem, especially on full flex. I had to move my axle more forward and could not use the measurements that RK gives. I also could not use the RK bump stops and went to the teraflex bump stops that are open on one end to clear the track bar mount better. Mine is still not perfect but it somewhat clears most of the other stuff like exhaust… I was going to look at the adjustable spring perches but not sure on that yet, I may be able to take some pics over the weekend if this does not make sense..

I did move the sway bar back also, 3/8" self tappers is what you need...

Thanks for the link. I think we figured out most of your troubles via all the PM's. But, like the one person mentioned, you do need to move that sway bar back as well!...

Yep! I think so too, now, to find 3/8 self tapping screws/bolts.
